The shipping costs charged by our system are based on the country where we ship to and the weight of your order.
If you find the shipping costs high try to remove heavy items like 5 Liter canisters of chemistry.
For some countries within Europe we use flat shipping tarifs and do not charge by weight.
All shipping costs quoted by the webshop assume that you are not living in a Remote Area. Remote areas are e.g. within Europe islands (especially in Ireland, Italy and Greece) or small villages in the Alps.
You can check if you live in a remote area on the DHL website. Here you also find a leaflet about the remote areas within Europe.
If we face a remote area surcharge we contact you in the after sales service. There are options. For example in many cases we can switch from a courier shippment to a postal service world economy parcel. The only downturn for a postal service parcel is that we cannot ship hazardous chemistry. But we have shippable alternatives for almost any type of chemistry. Our sales staff is happy to assist you in such a case.
